A simple setup.

Connect

After installing Lens, open its toolbar icon and choose “Connect Google Calendar.” Use the same account you view in Google Calendar. Approve read-only access, then return to Calendar.

Why is an event still busy?

Lens needs an exact match on a calendar you can read. Similar times alone are not enough. Private events on other people’s calendars and events without a readable copy stay hidden. Some workplaces restrict third-party apps or calendar access.

Why are some guest names missing?

Google may return only an email address. Lens shows that address and an initial rather than inventing a name or photo.

Switch accounts

Open Lens, disconnect, then connect the other account. Lens supports one connected account per browser profile and only adds details when the Calendar account matches it.

Loading and changes

Recent cached results can appear quickly. A fresh lookup depends on Google’s response time. Details are refreshed on a five-minute cycle, so changes may take a few minutes to appear.
